Dendrobaena worms are an excellent choice for all Coarse fish species particularly Bream, Skimmers, Carp, Tench, Chub, Perch, and Roach. They are also a favourite with anglers worming for Salmon and Sea Trout.
Their natural wriggling movement and scent make them irresistible, whilst their durability means they are easy to use. Can be used straight on the hook, loose feed whole or as many anglers do chopped and added to groundbait or cupped-in. The most popular worms with match and pleasure anglers, but also increasingly used by many Carp anglers.
Worm Care Guide
You can prolong the lifespan of your Dendrobaenas by storing them in a fridge set to a temperature between 5 and 7 degrees. If you don’t have a suitable fridge, you can leave your worm pots or bags on a cold garage floor.
Whilst enough soil is supplied with the Dendrobaenas to keep them fresh, turning the soil or adding new soil from the garden every week will help prolong their lifespan. Adding moss or pieces of shredded newspaper to your worms will also regulate moisture levels within the containers which helps them breath.
Worms need food to survive long periods of time! If you’ve not used your worms more than a week after purchase, add small pieces of potato or apple to their containers to give them a tasty snack.
Don’t put damaged worms back into the container with other worms. This can hamper the freshness of all worms in the container.
